With the MMI touch response operating concept of the new Audi Q8, nearly every function can be accessed via two large displays. The upper 10.1-inch display is used for controlling the infotainment and the navigation system. The driver uses the 8.6-inch display below that for heating and air conditioning, convenience functions and text input. Hardly anything is more intuitive than language. The Audi A6 Sedan can now also be operated with it. This is made possible by the optionally available natural-voice interaction, an intelligent operating concept that understands you without being limited to predefined commands. Whether it's navigation data, radio stations or the text of a message - you say it, the vehicle does it.
The navigation system recognizes the driver’s preferences based on previous journeys and therefore can make intelligent suggestions. The online services from Audi connect add predictive features to the route planning process. In addition to the two displays of the MMI touch response the Audi virtual cockpit increases the overview for the driver. It’s 12.3” high-resolution LCD display combined with the fully digital instrument cluster is customisable by the driver. All the functions and services are depicted using superb graphics with a 3D impression and detailed effects in brilliant clarity.
Insert and get started: As soon as your smartphone is in the optionally available Audi phone box and has been connected to the car via Bluetooth, it is automatically detected and can be operated quickly and easily via MMI, the multifunction steering wheel or voice. The interconnection between the storage compartment and vehicle antenna also provides better voice and reception quality. And if your smartphone supports the Qi standard, it can be charged in the Audi phone box - without any wires.
