For all four-cylinder engines with permanent all-wheel drive, quattro ensures that your Q5 remains efficient, dynamic, and safe without compromising traction. If quattro is not required, all-wheel drive is disabled, helping the driver save on fuel. Of course, it is always available. As soon as the situation requires quattro, the engine is ready.
Generous and wide
The sensor-controlled baggage space release button simplifies loading. If your hands are full, you can open the boot with your foot. In combination with manual lowering using the optional air suspension, you can store even heavy cases with ease.

The optional rear seat bench plus allows an extended boot volume of 550 to 610 litres depending on the position of the back seats, and offers even more comfort and variability in the back: for example, with the backrest remote release in the luggage compartment for the two outer rear seats. If the rear seat is completely folded down, the boot volume can be increased to 1,550 litres.
